IU Network Registration
For reasons of security and accountability, many areas on the Indiana
University Bloomington and IUPUI campuses require that your computer
be registered before it's allowed full network access. This requirement
is for all campus and Greek housing, and some offices and meeting
rooms; also, as of August 4, 2004, you need to register your wireless
computer. Eventually, all computers in all areas on campus will
be required to register before receiving an IP address from the
campus DHCP service.
